Questions? Just give us a call at one of the numbers noted at the top or bottom of this page.

How much will my tax receipt be?
Once the vehicle is disposed of the donation is made to your chosen charity. The charity will issue a charitable tax receipt for the vehicle donation value.

The minimum tax receipt is at least $300, because we receive payment for the weight of the car, the catalytic converter, the battery, and if the vehicle has them, aluminum wheels. Each of these items are a commodity that benefit the charity and this is reflected in the donation amount and the charitable tax receipt you receive.

Will my tax receipt be sent out automatically?

Yes. The charity that receives your donation will issue a charitable tax receipt at the end of the year.

If you have not received your tax receipt and need a replacement to be issued, please call us at one of the numbers listed at the top of this page or send us a message through our contact form with your details and we will follow up with the charity on your behalf.

Do I need to be the legal owner of a vehicle to donate it?

Yes.

However, if the vehicle is for someone who has passed away, we can receive the donation as long as their estate has been settled or the executor has the legal documents necessary to donate the vehicle.

Questions? Give us a call or send us a message using our contact form.

Can I drop off my vehicle for donation?

Yes. Please call us to arrange a suitable time and so paperwork can be completed in advance of the vehicle drop off.

How do you decide if my donated vehicle is resellable?

With minor repairs, some vehicles may be worth more to a charity resold rather than recycled. Vehicle donation value is determined once the vehicle is inspected.

Does my vehicle need to have insurance to be donated?

No, your vehicle does not need to be insured. When being towed the vehicle is covered by the towing companies commercial insurance.
