The Abbotsford Hospice Society is not only celebrating 34 years of community support in 2020, but also the four-year anniversary of moving into the Holmberg House.
Fundraising dollars generated through their various fundraising efforts allow the hospice to continue to provide palliative patients in Abbotsford. They offer a wide range of end-of-life services and provide the families and loved ones of those in palliative care with immediate and long-term grief support.
Abbotsford Hospice Society services include:
- One-to-one companioning
- Support groups
- Family counselling
- Expressive therapies for bereaved children
All of these services offer comfort to each individual on their own unique journey of grief and loss.
Time and time again the services of Abbotsford Hospice Society result in personal transformation and renewed hope.

Also, this month, from September 16th to 26th, Your Choice to Donate will be auctioning off a bronze statue of Ty Cobb, donated to Abbotsford Hospice by Fraser Valley Metal Recycling. The proceeds raised from the auction will go to the important work they do in their local community.
